A old king needs a wife for the stability of his state. He commissions one of his servants to line up the most beautiful women around and present them to him. After failure to find a wife of sufficient status, the king opens up the floor to people of all social classes. I played the most lovely woman, the comic-relief character, Smeraldina, a prostitute who tries to seduce the king at the will of her brother.
